Placenta Encapsulation
What is placenta encapsulation?
Placenta encapsulation is putting your placenta into pill form after birth. As an encapsulator I will sanitize your placenta by heating it to at least 165° F internally, and then grind it into fine powder and put it into vegan capsules. Flavored capsules offered as well.
Why should you encapsulate?
Your placenta creates most of your pregnancy hormones, and that is where they continue to stay throughout pregnancy. When the placenta leaves the body, so do all of those hormones, which can contribute to postpartum depression, low energy levels, and a slower postpartum recovery. When you encapsulate, all of the hormones that left your body will slowly be reintroduced.
